It is with great
sadness that we announce the death of our Founder and President of
America Burma Buddhist Association, U Han Kyu (Thiri-Thudamma - Manizawta-Dara).
The President U Han Kyu passed away at the age of 74 on the 14
February 2007.
Our thoughts and condolences are with his wife Daw Khin Hwa,
daughter Helen Tepper (Htay Htay Win), Juliet Tin Maung ( Aye Aye
Win ), son U Thein Win and five grandchildren. He will be greatly
missed by us all at ABBA and by his many friends, both in Myanmar
(Burma) and the United States.
